TYPHLO & TACTUS is the first and only award in the world for the best illustrated tactile book every two years.

Member States

Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom

Its aim

To create a European synergy around illustrated tactile books, to share experience, techniques, research and projects, to lower the costs and to enhance quality and offering for visually impaired children.

How it works

Each country (after having received the T&T agreement) launches a call for entries, selects the best models and sends them to the International jury (half of the panel being visually impaired) towards the end of November. The selected entry, best of the year, can be produced by the workshop of Les Doigts Qui Rêvent in all languages of the participants wishing it. Each country distributes these book internally.
